This was our 4th visit and it gets even better every time! We'd like to move in permanently please!
Alan, Pam & Sarah, Bognor Regis
All the cottages are booked from either Saturday to Saturday or Friday to Friday during high season. Out of season short breaks (minimum 3 nights) may be booked on other days.
Bookings can be accepted only from persons over 18 years of age and by paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges that he or she agrees to the Terms and Conditions on behalf of the total party intending to occupy the property.
Reservations will be secured only when a deposit of 25% of the cost is received. The balance of payment is due 4 weeks before commencement of the holiday. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the balance is not paid by the due date. If a booking is made less than 4 weeks before arrival, the full cost is due at the time of booking.
To ensure we maintain our high standard of cleanliness, guests are asked not to arrive before 3.00pm on the day of arrival and to leave before 10.00am on the day of departure.
Cancellations must be notified to us by phone and email and the effective date of cancellation is when written notification is received by us. Once received in writing we will confirm the cancellation request and attempt to re-let the property. If we are successful in re-booking the cottage, we will refund you the total amount paid by you for the booking, less a 5% booking fee and less any reduction in price between the customer's booking and the replacement booking if one is made.
Should a booking have to be cancelled (by yourselves or us) due to COVID restrictions, we will offer you the choice of either a full refund, or the opportunity to move the booking to an alternative date (subject to availability). Please note that the refund covers lockdowns and tier restrictions, but does NOT cover you (or members of your party) for being unable to travel because you (or a member of your party) fall ill with COVID, or are required or choose to quarantine or self-isolate. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover these eventualities. If you choose not to do so, then you accept full responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
There are several insurances that include cover for Covid related cancellations and whilst we are unable to recommend specific insurances, some that we are aware of include Trailfinders, Coverwise, GoCompare and StaycationPlan. Naturally you will need do your own research on suitable insurance based on your personal circumstances and these links are provided simply to give you a start in your research.
If we are not able to obtain a replacement booking, we will apply the following cancellation charge, which will be a percentage of the total cost of the holiday.

We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you are found to be causing a nuisance to other guests, or are not treating the cottage with due respect and the proprietors reserve the right to enter the property during your stay should this be necessary. We would appreciate notification of any losses or breakages, to ensure that the cottage is fully equipped for future guests.
