Nanjeath Farm Cottages Access Statement

Our five self catering cottages are set in 8 acres and are centred around the old Farmyard. We cater for adults and children over 10 only and operate a no smoking policy. We do not accept pets.

Our nearest local shop is at Trewoon on the way to St Austell. This is a small shop which sells most necessities and is open from 8.00am until 10.00pm. A Post Office is also situated in this village and there is a post box a 5 minute walk from us.

A Co-op store is located 3 miles away in St Austell. This old market town has a train station and buses and taxis also run from here. It has a shopping centre, out of town supermarkets and a casualty unit for minor injuries. There is a bus stop approximately 500 yards away from our entrance with buses running to St Austell.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities

As Nanjeath Farm is our home, we are always here to welcome you on arrival and show you around your accommodation. On the rare event that this is not possible, we will contact you and explain the procedure.

Each cottage has its own adjacent parking area and each cottage is clearly signed.

The Information Room

This room has a table and chair for WiFi access.

Information leaflets on many of the attractions in Cornwall can be found here, together with a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer for those cottages which do not have their own. A washing line is also available.

Our own Fresh Free Range Eggs can be found here, together with fresh seasonal produce when available.

A croquet set and tennis rackets are also in here. You are welcome to borrow these, but we do ask that you supply your own tennis balls. There is a pool table and dart board for wet weather entertainment! Should you require a barbecue, please let us know and we will take one to your barn.

Recycling

We in Cornwall take our recycling very seriously and we have a re-cycling shed which is reached via a gently slope, with bins for glass, paper, tins, plastic milk cartons and cardboard.

Grounds and Gardens

We have 8 acres of meadows in which you can wander. Croquet can be played in the old apple orchard. (A Croquet set is provided) Mobile phone coverage is varied, with the best being Vodaphone. A telephone box is located on the top road, but of course in an emergency you are welcome to use our house phone.
